Release Notes | 1.5.12 | 5 May 2026

Requests

  • You can now change the patient associated with a request if they were manually matched.

  • Bug where messages which couldn't be viewed or closed should now be fixed.

Documents

  • Draw perfectly straight lines with the annotation tool by holding "Ctrl" while drawing

  • Tasks managed in SystmOne now show as "Transferred to EHR" in Anima. Changes made to those tasks inside SystmOne won't sync back into Anima

  • Workflows can now add suggested tasks to documents automatically

  • You can manually mark a document as saved from the document action panel

  • Local folder ingestion now accepts HTM, HTML and TXT files, alongside PDFs and Word documents

  • High-impact codes now show a warning on patient profiles. You can configure these in your organization settings

  • Reject MESH documents back to the sender, either on its own or while archiving. Optional rejection messages are supported for certain document types

  • Encrypted PDFs from the Outlook integration now go to "Needs action" instead of failing silently

  • Better coding accuracy on confirmed vs suspected diagnoses

Calls

The updates below are coming soon! See this article for more information.

  • 100+ condition-specific questionnaires (avg. ~6 questions each), replacing the previous general set. Same questionnaires we're rolling out across online requests and the NHS App

  • 45+ languages now supported. Andi responds in whichever supported language the patient speaks, no configuration needed. Email your Anima contact if you'd like English-only

  • Andi skips questions the patient has already answered earlier in the call

  • Patient details now captured at the start of the call rather than the end

  • Patient matching accuracy improvements to reduce unmatched call requests

  • Fewer escalations to reception. Andi encourages patients to continue before transferring, while still offering the option
