How to edit the permissions role of a user

Overview

You can update a user’s role in Anima to control what they can access.

For example, you may want to make someone an Admin so they can:

  • Change organisation settings

  • Manage teams and workflows

  • Access and export reports

How to edit a user’s role

  1. Open Anima

  2. Click Settings (bottom left) and select Organisation Settings

  3. Go to Manage Team

  4. Find the user in the list (you can search using the search bar in the top right)

  5. Click Edit permissions role next to their name

  6. Select the new role (e.g. Admin) and click Update

Permissions explained

  • Admin
    Full access to settings, reporting, teams, and configuration

  • Standard user
    Can manage requests, documents, and tasks but cannot change organisation-level settings
