How to assign a patient request to a team or user

Assigning a patient request in Anima Triage to a team or individual Anima user.

You can explicitly assign patient requests that are submitted through Anima to different members of your organisation.

There are two places that you can assign patient requests from: directly from your dashboard, or from the opened request view.

Dashboard Assignment

1. From your Anima dashboard, for the patient request that you want to assign, click the [Name] or "Unassigned" icon in the relevant request's row:

3. A menu will be displayed. Click the Select a team member dropdown menu to select which person or team you want to assign the request to:

4. Select the user or team you want to assign the request to.

5. From this view, users can also Set Due Date, Mark as high priority, and provide an optional Note. The notes can leverage your organisation templates through //.

Additional Notes

  • Admin Users can create and manage teams within Anima from Settings > Organisation Settings > Availability and Assignment

  • Admin Users can allow assignment even when the user is unavailable by changing the Settings under Organisation Settings > Practice Settings > Allow Assignments when unavailable?

  • Creating and managing your messaging shortcuts can be found under Organisation Settings > Communication Templates > Assignment Notes.
