What's Happening
If you're only seeing one role available when trying to assign tasks to a staff member who has multiple roles in SystmOne, this is the expected behaviour. SystmOne only allows Anima to assign tasks to one role per person, which is determined by SystmOne itself.
Previously, Anima displayed both roles in the assignment dropdown, but this was incorrect and has now been fixed to reflect SystmOne's actual functionality.
How to Assign to a Specific Role
If you need to assign tasks to a staff member under a specific role, you can create a workaround using SystmOne groups:
Step 1: Create a Group in SystmOne
In SystmOne, create a new group
Add only the single staff member to this group
Ensure they're added under the specific role you want to assign to
Step 2: Assign to the Group in Anima
When assigning tasks in Anima, select the group you've created instead of the individual staff member. Since the group only contains one person with one role, tasks will be assigned to that specific person under the correct role.
Why This Limitation Exists
This is a technical limitation imposed by SystmOne's API. Anima can only work within the constraints of what SystmOne allows for task assignment and role management.
