What's new

A new questionnaire experience is slowly rolling out

We are starting a gradual rollout of a new questionnaire experience for patient requests.

This will appear to practices and patients over time as we continue to monitor feedback, safety, and completion quality during the rollout.

Scribe improvements

Scribe now has backend support for organisation-specific consultation note templates, including default templates and template snapshots for regenerated notes.

We've also improved Scribe processing, analytics, SNOMED suggestion handling, and transcription quality configuration.

Referral and NHS integration improvements

We've made several reliability improvements around referrals and NHS integrations, including safer referral cancellation and re-referral handling, clearer referral identifiers, better attachment handling, support for proxy contacts, and improved handling of non-England postcodes for Directory of Services checks.

Documents, messages, and record-saving reliability

We've improved document processing and record-saving reliability, including better handling of corrupt or empty PDF attachments, clearer MESH acknowledgement behaviour, safer patient email formatting, and improved error handling when sign-off actions fail.

Behind the scenes

This release also includes infrastructure, observability, CI, billing and usage tracking, and data-correctness improvements to make Anima more reliable and easier for our team to monitor and support.
