After your request is submitted from your patient account in Anima, it is received by your GP Surgery. The office will review your request and pass it long to the personnel required to review and resolve your request.
Once you submit a request through Anima, it will immediately show up in 'Your Requests' in the middle 'In Progress' view in your Dashboard.
You'll be able to see the status of each request on the request itself, for example 'Waiting for practice to respond'.
If you have a request in progress, you have the option of continuing with it by pressing the blue 'Resume' button, or cancelling it by selecting the white 'Delete' button.
If any additional information is required, your GP will reach out to you via one of the communication methods (email or SMS) and the status of the request will update in Anima. The status will be updated accordingly in Anima.
If any action is required on your part, a blue button labeled "Reply to Practice," will appear on the request.
When you click 'Reply to practice', a new page will open. This will show the request's history, including your practice's latest reply. At the bottom is a text box where you can enter your response.
At the very bottom, you have the option to upload photos or videos if requested by your GP (e.g. for a rash). Please do not upload photos or videos of intimate areas (genitals, breasts, or bottom), even if these are the problem areas.
After clicking on the red button labelled "Acknowledge," you can read your GP's resolution or communication in regards to your request. You have the option to "Reject this plan" by clicking on in the left hand corner or the blue button on the right labelled "Acknowledge & Accept".
Your request is closed after this final step.
Invitations
As part of closing out a request, your GP may invite you to an online consultation. This will appear in the Invitations view of Your Requests dashboard. Press the blue 'Start Request' button to complete it.
