If you GP surgery allows creation of accounts, you can access your Anima patient portal once your GP surgery has joined Anima. Your practice will share a link — either directly or via a banner on their website — where you can create your account.
To register, you'll need your NHS number, date of birth, a valid email address, and the name of your GP surgery and GP.
Anima works in your browser, so there's nothing to download. You'll need an active internet connection and one of the following browsers: Chrome (v98.0+), Safari (v15.2+), or Firefox (v97.0+).
If your practice does not allow patient accounts, you can raise a request using their request link. This is specific to each individual practice, and will be on their practice website. You do not need to create an account, and can fill in all of your details there to raise a request.
