How to use Anima Insights
Anima Insights is Anima's AI analytics layer. It puts all the data you need at your fingertips, whenever you want it and however you want to see it.
Insights helps you answer questions such as:
How many requests do we have, and how quickly do we answer them?
How many requests and documents are sitting with each team?
When does our demand come in, and who does it come from?
The data is near real-time, arriving with around a one-minute delay. You can refresh at any time to see the latest figures.
Where to find Insights
In Anima, look at the left-hand menu and scroll down a little. Click Insights to open the Insights page.
Navigating boards
In the top left of Insights, there's a drop-down menu containing a set of ready-made boards to get you started, including Triage, Documents, Calls, Tasks and Scribe. For example, the "Are We Meeting Demand" board is a good place to begin.
Each board is made up of data tiles showing the data points you're most likely to find useful. All boards are fully customisable.
Filtering your data
You can adjust what each board shows using:
Date: view today, 7 days ago, 3 months ago, or set a custom date range.
Compare: compare by time period or by organisation.
Filters: narrow down by age, weekday, request type and more.
Customising a board
Click Customise in the top right-hand corner of a board. From here you can:
Move tiles around.
Remove tiles you don't need.
Edit how each tile looks.
Click Add insights to add new tiles. Use the search bar to find the data you're looking for.
Drilling down into a tile
To look more closely at a particular piece of data, click on its tile to open it up. From here you can change how the data is visualised and break it down by different variables. For example, you could view open requests broken down by gender and age.
Creating your own board
As well as the ready-made boards, you can build your own. Open the drop-down in the top left, click New board, then add and arrange tiles however you like.
Asking Anima for an insight
Anima can also build insights and boards for you. Click Ask for an insight in the bottom right-hand corner and describe what you'd like to see. For example, "Create a board that shows me which requests were assigned to each team today." Anima will generate the chart for you, in this case an assignment activity chart showing which teams were assigned requests today.
