Ingestion: Why do some documents come into my 'Uploaded' tab, and some in my 'Queued'/'Processed' tab?

Updated this week

Anima will automatically process single page documents, taking them straight to the 'Queued' tab and then into 'Processed' once Annie has processed it.

Multi-page documents will sit in the 'Uploaded tab'. The reason for this is that some practices may scan a batch of documents together in one file and these documents will need to be split first. If you want to send these documents for processing, you click the checkbox below, and it will select all documents in the 'Uploaded' tab. Then you can click 'Send for processing'.

Changing to Auto-Process

The user connected to the local folder can change to auto-process (i.e. all documents skip Uploaded and are sent for processing) by completing the following steps:

1. Settings > Organisation Settings > Documents - Intake

2. Scroll to Ingestion from Local Folder.

3. Next to the association to the local folder, turn the toggle On.

4. Press Save Changes.

Please note every user connected to the local folder will need to ensure this is turned on.
